Aji Spice peppers are small peppers which look like hot peppers and taste like hot peppers but do not have heat.
2 varitietes to choose from:
Aji Dulce - These wonderful fruits have all the flavor and look of a habanero but lack the heat. The key ingredient for sofrito. Fruit takes a long time to ripen and most of the harvest is at the end of the season. They freeze easily for use in winter.
Aji Spice- All the flavor of a habanero but without the heat. A slightly acidic flavor makes a great salsa. Perfect for adding to most dishes to give you spice without the heat. Smaller pepper than the aji dulce but with a earlier maturing, sweet flavor.
