We seek hard working people whom are energetic about food and have a passion for sustainable agriculture. Experience is not necessary but is a plus. We are looking for reliable workers who can understand that the vegetables do not take vacation during the summer and need us to be there to care for them.
We are looking for employees from April through November. However, we do have positions for shorter periods of time.
Open Positions for 2018:
Farmers Markets: We are looking for a social person with customer service experience and a knowledge of healthy eating. This person must be available to work Saturdays and an occasional Sunday, April through September. Clean driving record and references required. Compensation is based on experience. Our markets are a fun and exciting way to learn about food and share your knowledge with others.
Field workers: Have you ever wanted to learn more about organic farming? Do you already have experience and are just looking for a place to practice your passion. We are hiring a full time employee to work in our fields: harvesting, planting, weeding, and all the other wonderful things that go along with agriculture. Tuesday through Friday 7am till 5 pm, April through November. Compensation is based on experience. You must be able to work outside in all weather and perform physical work.
